HAPPY LABOR DAY!

2015 marks the first year that no televised telethon for the Muscular Dystrophy Association will be broadcasted .  Comedian Jerry Lewis had hosted the telethon every year since 1966; up until he was "retired" in 2011. He had been involved with MDA telethons since 1952.

The MDA telethons brought together thousands of celebrities over the years on to television screens all across America for over 21 hours of entertainment and fundraising.

The highlight of the 1976 Telethon was one particular celebrity that appeared on the show and brought Jerry Lewis together with an old friend.

If you'd like to donate to MDA on this Labor Day--then by all means Make A Gift.

Have a Safe and Happy Labor Day!
